The Creation for Prevention Association was started by a student angered by the government’s lackluster response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally an organization that strived to raise funds to provide facilities with personal protection equipment, we quickly recognized that the power of the arts could be extended to foster other areas of social impact.

The Creation for Prevention Association is a groundbreaking organization utilizing unique perspectives obtained from the arts to address current issues. As artists, we have seen how art can transform and unify people; its impact on the world can be so profound and endearing. However, it is often undervalued and underappreciated today in society.

Through this organization, we hope to inspire others to develop a sense of empowerment and leadership and ultimately showcase the transformative abilities that art can bring to the world.
Today, the Creation for Prevention Association has expanded to over 10+ states, with over 50 like-minded individuals with similar beliefs and values. It is an organization that continues to grow and hopes to inspire others to facilitate change in their respective communities through the arts.
